Mishkan is the product of healing, an evolution from darkness into light. The collection focuses on patterns, shapes, textures and light. Inspired by a guided return to self, the compilation represents a spiritual sanctuary.
The collection’s title derives from the Book of Exodus. The Tabernacle (Hebrew: מִשְׁכַּן, mishkan, or "dwelling place") was the portable sanctuary where God met the Israelites during the 40 years they wandered in the wilderness.
"And let them make Me a sanctuary, that I may dwell among them. According to all that I show you, that is, the pattern of the tabernacle and the pattern of all its furnishings, just so you shall make it." (Exodus 25:8-9)
